The ten songs that received the greatest percentage of televoting and that therefore made it for the Opportunity Challenge final were announced. The challenge was open to a total of 36 entrants and gave the opportunity to singers who never took part in the Song for Europe festival to compete to win the possibility of sealing one of two places in Malta’s Song for Europe 2006.
The ten finalists (song and singer) are; Is it destiny - Vittorio Gauci; Another day of hope - Alexia Schembri; Let me dream - Jessica Muscat; Is it too late - Joanna Attard; Is it love - Pauline Briffa; I walk the streets alone - Dario Bezzina; A bit of magic - Ann Marie Ellul; It just comes natural - Josef Tabone and Amanda Farrugia; Stay with me - Lara Azzopardi; Forever young - Jan Pace.
The two winners of the Opportunity Challenge will be announced on Saturday 7th January during TVM’s ShowTime ma’ Aceline and will be added to the final list.
