Renowned Italian song writer and singer Marco Masini will be giving a double performance at the Aurora Theatre, Gozo, tonight on March 31 and tomorrow April 1. Both performances are to start at 20:00CET.

41-year-old Masini is currently on tour in fifty locations. His tour started on the 10th July and will end with his performance in Gozo. Local talent will also been inserted in the whole package.

Masini will be performing 24 songs in all, which repertoire will feature songs from his latest compilation Il giardino delle Api. His latest album has increased Masini's revival as one of the most popular Italian singers. In fact three singles have been released from this album, including the title track, Rimani Cosi and Nel Mondo dei Sogni. This track was performed in this year's Sanremo Festival. Masini's powerful comeback was marked with last year's Sanremo triumph, when he won the popular Italian song contest with the single L’Uomo Volante.

Marco Masini’s last concert in Malta goes back to the summer of 1993, when he included Malta as part of his tour. Singing in front of a huge audience at the Luxol grounds in St.Andrews, Masini performed his major hits at that time including the controversial hit Vaffanculo and the title track T'Innamorerai.
