 Rebecca Madyson made Maltese sport history by winning Malta’s first Silver Medal in the Women’s Trap at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
In the qualification round 12 athletes competed and Rebecca after hitting 70/75 in 3 rounds placed 2nd; Diane Swanton, Republic of South Africa, placed 1st with 72/75. The finals took place shortly after and Malta’s Rebecca Madyson took the Silver medal after hitting 16/25; Diane Swanton took the Gold medal after hitting 20/25.
